The Vital & Sporthotel Brixen is located in the Brixental not far from the famous town of Kitzbühel, i.e. directly in the unique region of the Kitzbühel Alps.
Tip: please do not confuse it with "Brixen/Bressanone" in South Tyrol, Italy.
train arrival
Since our hotel is only around 300 m from the "Brixen im Thale" train station, we recommend the comfortable and environmentally friendly journey by train.
Arriving by plane
Guests from more distant home towns will find three different airports within a radius of 1 1/2 to 2 hours: Innsbruck (INN), Salzburg (SZG) and Munich (MUC) - see below - With regional transfer and taxi services, the rest of the route is also comfortable.

Getting to Brixental is wonderfully easy and simply wonderful for drivers too:

You are traveling from Germany:
From Germany via the Munich - Kufstein - Wörgl motorway (Wörgl Ost exit, turn left at the crossroads in the direction of St. Johann i.T./Felbertauern) - at the crossroads marked "Brixental", turn right over the bridge and left into Brixental to Brixen im Thale (do not drive through the tunnel) - at the end of the village you will reach the Sporthotel Brixen on the right. Or after passing through the two tunnels of the bypass, turn left immediately afterwards.
Tip: Leave the motorway in Kufstein Süd - this way you save the costs for the motorway vignette. Then follow the main road along the breathtaking backdrop of the Wilder Kaiser via the towns of Scheffau - Ellmau - Going - Reith bei Kitzbühel - Kirchberg/Tyrol until you reach Brixen im Thale.

They come from the south, e.g. Italy:
Via the Brenner autobahn - Innsbruck (direction Salzburg) - Wörgl (exit Wörgl Ost, at the crossing turn left towards St. Johann i.T./Felbertauern) - at the crossing marked "Brixental" turn right over the bridge and left into the Brixental to Brixen im Thale (do not drive through the tunnel) - at the end of the village you will reach the Sporthotel Brixen on the right.

If you are coming from Switzerland and the West:
Bregenz - Arlberg tunnel - Innsbruck (direction Salzburg) - Wörgl (exit Wörgl Ost, at the crossing turn left towards St. Johann i.T./Felbertauern) - at the crossing marked "Brixental" turn right over the bridge and left into the Brixental to Brixen im Thale (do not drive through the tunnel) - at the end of the village you will reach the Sporthotel Brixen on the right.

Or you are traveling from the east:
A1 direction Linz to Salzburg - Autobahn exit Walserberg/Lofer - Bad Reichenhall (D) - Lofer - Waidring - St. Johann in Tirol - Kitzbühel (turn into the BrixentalerBundesstraße) - Kirchberg/Tirol - Brixen im Thale (do not drive through the tunnel) - right at the beginning of the village you will reach the Vital & Sporthotel Brixen on the left.
